How long before i can paint walls ive skimmed
hi hope everyone had a good new year
.
i know this question must get asked every week but can anyone help. i am an ames taper but took on a skimming job today which seemed to go pretty well. but i was under the impression u could paint the next day because of the sanding and taping. please help!!!!!

You can paint it when it has dried out. If it's on board, then a day or two. If it's on render, then a good week or so.

but dehumifiers can cheat nature and speed things up a little bit yet if timescales are tight.

I was under the impression he wanted it done as quickly as possible so I said "If timescales are tight"
Just wouldnt use a space heater

2-3 days are recommended after doing skimming job. When the colour of plaster becomes dark then you are ready to paint your walls.
